University, GIMP and more

So, here I am again. I disapper once in every several months and appera out of nowhere. So, what have I been up to?
1. Contributions to GIMP - GIMP will have a PDF plugin written by me soon, I'm nearly done with it and the developerss agreed to include it in GIMP. It will include multiple page support, bidirectional text, support for all the languages that are supported in GIMP (including Hebrew which is my language :D).
In addition, I added a palette export script and some other stuff.
2. University - I'm studying Linear Algebra 2 (a long course about matrices and stuff) which is a bit boring but I have to do it as part of learning for B.Sc in computer science. I must say that it is going on well (much better than Infinitisimal Math :D).
3. I ordered the OpenGL SuperBible (aka the 'bluebook';) as part of getting serious with my vector art program. I decided to go for hardware accelerated program in order to solver performance problem (like some of those that inkscape has). It costed about 300 NIS (about 75$) and it weighs a ton =) I'll get it on sunday and I'll start showing off some demos.

As you already saw if you followed me, I'm a busy man (doing university and high-school at the same time) so I can't gaurantee when will be the next time I'll be here =)

I'm a 16 year old teenager from Israel. My main interests are photography, music, digital art and programming.
In addition to studying in highschool with my friends, I'm a student for BS.c in Computer science at Tel-Aviv university.

I'm a big fan of open-source and for that reason I try to contribute to GIMP (The open source image manipulation program - an excellent alternative for Photoshop). I fixed several bugs, and added some new features/plugins that are now part of the offical distribution.

When I'm not on the computer programming, I'm a camping guide in the yout movement "Bney Hamoshavim".

Thanx! Believe it or not, the blaze tag was just me putting in my old tags and messing with them, and then just adding some interesting clipping masks.

The toad one, yeah i felt it was bad. It was mainly c4d smudging.

And yes, im still a n00b at Gimp. I started around 3 - 4 months ago, and im still Solid Novice :(

I still experiment with styles, so yeah, you'll see a variety of different things.
